Auriga (Latin): the charioteer, the one who works the reins. From aureae, the bridle straps, and agere, to drive.

The horses supply power and speed. The auriga supplies judgment, direction, and restraint. That is the relationship between an engineering team and its AI agents.

Auriga is a tool-agnostic team framework for shipping software with agentic engineering: the principles, roles, rituals, and artifacts of the agent era. Auditable by design, so that what a team produces is evidence a reviewer, a risk function, and a regulator can accept.
